After graduating from METU Civil Engineering Department, Taha Aksoy completed his master's degree in the same department.

He worked as an Assistant at METU, a Research Assistant at Munich Technical University, and a Lecturer at Melik Abdulaziz University in Jeddah. In his long work experience, he held various senior management positions and assumed roles in various boards and associations: METU Academic Council Member, Betonsan AŞ. General Manager, AFA İnşaat A.Ş. Project Manager and Deputy General Manager, Çimentaş Group Planning Coordinator and Executive Board Member, Beşer Balatacılık A.Ş. General Manager, ATAY Holding A.Ş. Commerce Group President and Executive Board Member, 23rd World Inter-University Summer Games General Coordinator and Chairman of the Executive Board President of Turkish Gas Concrete Producers Association, European Gas Concrete Association Board Member, Turkish Prefabricated Union Board Member, Chamber of Civil Engineers, METU Alumni Association, ESİAD and TÜSİAD.

Taha Aksoy, who served as an İzmir Deputy in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey between 2007 and 2011, speaks English at a very good level and German at a good level.

After completing his high school education at Adana Anatolian High School, Cenker Mirzaoğlu graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering in 1996.

He started his professional career as a Strategy and Business Development Specialist at BetonSA, one of the Sabancı Group companies, and later assumed different managerial roles in strategy, business development, R&D and general management in both domestic and international operations at Group companies Akçansa and Çimsa. In 2011, he assumed the role of General Manager at Çimbeton, one of the Çimentaş Group companies, and later served as the Çimentaş Group Sales and Marketing Director. He was appointed as the General Manager of ÇİMKO Cement and Concrete in 2015 and was appointed as the CEO and Member of the Board of Directors in the same company in 2017. Cenker Mirzaoğlu, who rejoined Çimentaş Group since June 2019, continues his career as a Member of the Board of Directors and CEO. In addition to being a member of the Board of Directors at TÇMB and ÇEİS institutions and a board member at TÇMB, he also continues to serve as the "Treasurer of the Board of Directors".

Mirzaoğlu, who has more than 20 years of experience in the construction, cement and ready-mixed concrete industry, speaks English very well.

Graduated in Business Administration at Bocconi University, Milan, with a term at McGill University – Montreal, he has 20 years of international experience in strategy, sales, marketing and business development. He started in private equity, then moved to management consulting. He joins the HVAC industry, first in Corporate Strategic Planning in Ariston Thermo Group, staff to the CEO, then in Ferroli Group in Export Sales, with a responsibility over Sales & Marketing covering Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, CIS and the US. In 2010 joins Aalborg Portland in Copenhagen as Commercial and Business Development Director in the Nordic & Baltic Region. In 2017 he moves to Cementir Holding in Rome as Group Chief Sales, Marketing & Commercial Development Officer where he is coordinating the Group global commercial strategy with a direct focus on white cement leadership. He is pursuing the Group Innovation agenda and its strategic development.

Pasquale Vetrano | Board Member

Pasquale Vetrano

Pasquale Vetrano graduated with honors from the Department of Electrical Engineering at Polytechnic Federico II University and obtained his master's degree from IMD Business School in Switzerland. Vetrano is an executive with extensive experience in multinational companies, having worked for nearly 25 years at ABB Group. In Italy, he held roles ranging from Operations to Supply Chain, followed by various management positions at the company’s headquarters in Zurich, including Division Supply Chain Manager and Group Vice President. Vetrano spent a significant part of his career abroad in countries such as China, India, the Middle East, Northern and Central Europe, and North Africa. In 2011, he joined Cementir Holding as Group Strategic Procurement Officer and was promoted to Group Global Purchasing Officer in 2017. Since April 2017, he has served as a Board Member of Spartan Hive, Cementir Group's trading company, and since June 2018, as an Appointed Board Member of Cementir Holding, serving on the boards of Çimentaş and Recydia (Turkey) and CCB (Belgium). Vetrano is fluent in English and Italian.

Seyda Zeynep Akdurak | Independent Board Member

After completing her high school education at Istanbul's Robert College, she graduated from Boston University in 1992 with degrees in Mass Communications from the College of Communication and Political Science from the College of Arts and Sciences. She began her career as a Sales Representative at Söke Milling in 1992 and held various positions until she was appointed as the Chairman of the Board in 2015. Since 2016, she has been serving as a Board Member at Kemer Agriculture. Between 2001 and 2003, she was a Board Member of the Aegean Contemporary Education Foundation (EÇEV). In 2012, she played a significant role in the founding of the Family Businesses Association (TAİDER) as a founding board member. She is currently a Board Member of the Çimentaş Education and Health Foundation (ÇESVAK).

Prof. Dr. Cemali Dinçer graduated from METU Industrial Engineering Department. Afterwards, he went to Stanford University in the USA with a NATO scholarship, where he received a master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Statistics and a PhD in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management.

Being in the first academic staff of Bilkent University in 1986, upon working at Bilkent University for 10 years, Dinçer moved to the private sector and served as the General Manager of Yeni Asır newspaper. Dinçer, who founded the Faculty of Communication and the Faculty of Computer Sciences, the Department of Software Engineering, the Department of Computer Engineering, the Department of Industrial Systems Engineering, and the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering at Izmir University of Economics, was appointed as the General Manager of IzAIR (Izmir Airlines) in 2006. He worked as the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs at Istanbul Bilgi University in 2011. After working as a member of the Izmir Science Park Advisory Board and Vice Rector of IUE, he has worked at the Department of Industrial Engineering at Yaşar University since 2014.

Prof. Dr. Cemali Dinçer has been serving as the Rector of Yaşar University since 2015 and has received awards from national and international universities, including Stanford University. Dinçer, who speaks English very well, has many articles, books and projects.
